Fall Decorating Tips

Place setting for Thanksgiving

Fall is upon us and soon the view from your new home in Midlothian will be vibrant and colorful! Bronzy gold, orange, red and rich butterscotch brown will be on display. Bringing these beautiful colors into your new home isn’t as hard as you may think.

Front Door

Customize your fall wreath with an autumn inspired orange or red ribbon and a twine wrapped monogram to fill the center of your wreath.

Mantle

Dress up your mantle with apothecary jars filled with various colored beans, nuts, ribbon and pinecones.

Dining Room

Fill a tall cylinder vase full of mini pumpkins. Use white or spray paint them a bronze or gold to make an elegantly striking display.

Centerpiece

Visit your local farmer’s market and gather up colorful ears of Indian corn to rest on a bed of wheat inside a shallow bowl for a beautifully unique  autumn centerpiece.

Coffee Table

Bring in fall branches with colorful leaves and arrange them in a vase to bring a pop of fall color into any room.

Kitchen

Weave or wrap a fall colored ribbon around a cake stand, place a mirror on top and display colorful mini pumpkins, nuts, berries and leaves.

These are just few ideas to welcome the harvest season in to your new home in Midlothian.
